Starting out, growing and learning...

Starting something new is so much fun. Even when you have a 3 year old, a 6 month old, a dog and a husband in the Forces, but I wasn't phased. I loved being outside, building the business and taking on new customers and dogs slowly and getting to know them. When I started HHH, I followed the working pattern of my office job; I worked Wednesday to Friday and loved it. Being on maternity leave at this point, it meant that I didn't have too much pressure on me to make money. I quite quickly built up a customer base and it became apparent that a need was there to work more days, however, with juggling my new business along with the kids, this wasn't possible so after only 3 months of being in business, I took on my first sub-contractor!

Fast forward to now and over the years, I've been lucky enough to work with a number of people who have enjoyed the company of the dogs and helped me to grow the business. Of course, it's not all been plain sailing but we have learnt, grown and had a lot of laughs along the way....working with animals means that no day is ever the same and it's rare a week goes by, even now, where there isn't something which makes us say 'it's never dull'!

Some of the following posts will give you an insight into the dogs, the walkers and the fun we have along the way!
